our valentine's day getaway at the houseboat exceeded all expectations. it was even better than our previous stay in little baddow. the location was breathtaking, and the boat itself was cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed. overall, a perfect romantic retreat.

shower pressure could be better.

The value we got for our money was excellent, and the room on the houseboat was superb. The location was breathtaking, with beautiful canal walks and a peaceful ambiance. The staff, especially Diane and Tina, were welcoming and attentive, making our anniversary stay memorable.

The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

I loved staying at this floating paradise with its free WiFi and terrace. It was like a luxury campground on water! Private parking made me feel so special.

Oh, I just hated the river views and the cozy fireplace. Who needs beautiful scenery and warmth anyway?

We booked this for our 30th wedding anniversary as we wanted something a bit different to the usual hotels. The location was fantastic, listening to the dawn chorus every day was special. "Felix" our neighbourly swan and our lovely duck couple were a real treat to see every day. The boat itself was a great surprise- it had everything you could want and was very comfortable. Probably our most chilled holiday in a very long time.

Our stay at Willow - Cottage On The River, Luxury Houseboat was absolutely amazing. The location was peaceful and serene, and we loved taking leisurely walks along the canal. The houseboat itself was surprisingly spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the little touches, such as the strawberries, prosecco, and fresh eggs that were provided. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we had the best night's sleep we've had in ages. Feeding the ducks and interacting with the friendly swan was a delightful experience. we had a wonderful and relaxing time at this unique accommodation. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

River Views: Sitting on the terrace of this floating paradise, it felt like I was living inside a dreamy postcard. The tranquil river views were so mesmerizing, it was as if Monet himself had painted them with his magical brush strokes. Truly a feast for the eyes!

The bathroom was fitted with a shower, which was just perfect for a quick and refreshing rinse after a long day of exploring. As someone who prefers quick showers, it was exactly what I needed!

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of showers. But hey, that's just my personal preference.
