amazing little getaway, exceeded expectations. boat was spacious and well-equipped. peaceful location with beautiful canal walks. extra touches like strawberries, prosecco, and fresh eggs were a lovely surprise. comfortable beds, best sleep in ages. loved feeding ducks and grumpy swan. perfect anniversary celebration.

The value we got for our money was excellent, and the room on the houseboat was superb. The location was breathtaking, with beautiful canal walks and a peaceful ambiance. The staff, especially Diane and Tina, were welcoming and attentive, making our anniversary stay memorable.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

We booked this for our 30th wedding anniversary as we wanted something a bit different to the usual hotels. The location was fantastic, listening to the dawn chorus every day was special. "Felix" our neighbourly swan and our lovely duck couple were a real treat to see every day. The boat itself was a great surprise- it had everything you could want and was very comfortable. Probably our most chilled holiday in a very long time.
I do recommend this hotel.

Wow what a mind-blowing experience we had staying at this place! It was super cosy and lovely, and the peaceful location was jaw-dropping. The boat itself was surprisingly spacious with lots of room to mill about. We loved the beautiful canal walks and the delightful touch of fresh strawberries, prosecco, and eggs. Feeding the ducks and the grumpy swan was a fun activity provided by the owners. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, and we had the best night's sleep in ages. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location for our 30th wedding anniversary. The dawn chorus was a special treat every day, and our friendly swan and duck couple added to the charm. The boat had everything we needed, and we enjoyed our time there morning and evening. This was definitely our most chilled holiday in a long time. Thank you so much Diane and Tina for creating such an amazing opportunity for a unique and relaxing getaway.

The bathroom was fitted with a shower, which was just perfect for a quick and refreshing rinse after a long day of exploring. As someone who prefers quick showers, it was exactly what I needed!
Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of showers. But hey, that's just my personal preference.
